This is the most visits registered in The Pitiusas by 582,181 tourist arrivals during the month of July. The latest tourists’ statistics in July not only uphold the locals’ confession of surging of summer tourists but also see the most remarkable high season in terms of the intensity of visitors’ volume.
The number of tourists reached the mark of 500,000 in the first of July on Balearic Islands, with the region’s tourism performance being almost 9% higher than in 2015. The number has grown by x3, 510,380, if we talk about the first six months of the year, from January through July. This demonstrates a very impressive quantity of tourists with 10.98 percent increase.
From the total of 582 181 foreign visitors, simply the biggest part of them were international visitors, while the domestic tourist numbered only 108 500. All together, the islands have seen the highest number of tourists in one month to beat the previous record and this has been realized as 2, 755,321 being the number of the tourists with only 390,000 of them being local. The high season for Balearic Islands’ tourist numbers is likely to peak in August with the same percentages as the initial guesses and beat the forecasted positive predictions for the tourist arrivals in the Balearic Islands in 2022.
